The Nomads Lounge is a home and space created by the gathering of any of those here. As a couple, we started our lives together on the road for five years, and the Nomads Lounge was the house we called home – which ever country it was in – as well as the virtual space we created to help stay connected with our friends and family.
The Nomads Lounge was born out of the union of Tirza and Chris in 1999. The concept first came alive online in 2001, when we moved to Argentina. Since then, it’s been finding new ways to express itself in our lives. This particular spot is a place for personal expression, sharing, and pontificating.
About Us:
We met in Houston, TX at Rice University though now call Decatur, GA home now (though about half a dozen other places we have lived over the past 10+ years feel that way still in the heart). We co-founded a business called ifPeople together that is based in Atlanta. We’ve also been involved in the Bioneers Southeast, Inspiring Futures, and other happenings that aim to restore the earth and our communities.
About Christopher:
I’m a native if Atlanta, GA though have lived in seven countries. I studied Physics and still love math and science, though my application of it is now through being an entrepreneur (aka eternal problem solving!). I am a medicine maker, nature spirit, and community-builder. I love to find new ways for us to be self-sufficient, have fun and create a better impact.
