The Solstice is a twice-a-year event that marks a milestone in the Earth’s relationship to the sun. At the start of summer (June 21-ish), we have the longest day and at the start of winter (December 21-ish), we have the longest night. We mark the occasion with a community gathering, with the Winter Solstice being a more intense gathering designed to help us through the dark night and fill us with inspiration and energy for the year ahead.
The next Solstice Gathering will be a weekend gathering, Friday, June 17-Sunday June 19, 2011. For more information on this gathering, you can:
- View the event on Facebook
- Contact us to request details
- See event schedule and additional information below
Solstice Gatherings are about participating. Events are kid friendly and we encourage you to bring musical instruments.
